LCA expert (4 to 5 days per week)
Do you want to help promote the transition to the circular economy and work with many different clients?
Do you have extensive experience with LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) and the circular economy and enjoy working in a small and dedicated team? Partners for Innovation is looking for an experienced LCA expert to join the circular economy team. Function
As an LCA expert, you will help companies, organisations and governments carry out screening LCAs, full ISO-certified LCA studies and calculate the circularity index. Through data analyses, you contribute to strategic advice, and design and process optimisation within circular economy projects. In this, you work closely with your team members.
Your tasks include the following:
- Conducting, together with team members, LCA quick scans and full LCA studies and research and consultancy projects within the field of the circular economy, in the packaging, automotive, electronics, consumer products and recycling systems sectors.
- Presenting knowledge or results during trainings and meetings.
- Keeping knowledge up-to-date LCA methodology and the use of software and databases (SimaPro).
- Possibly contributing to the recruitment of new assignments and developing new services.

Within the team of eight highly driven colleagues, we switch quickly, are people-oriented and together create practical solutions that help our clients in their circular transition.
Profile
- You have a relevant education (e.g. a master’s in mechanical engineering, Engineering Management, Industrial Design, Environmental Science, Industrial Ecology, etc.).
- You have at least 3 years’ demonstrable work experience in performing life-cycle analyses (both full and screening LCAs) and are familiar with using SimaPro Software.
- You live in the Netherlands, preferably in the Amsterdam area.
- You a good to excellent command of the English language. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
- You work carefully, independently and quality-oriented.
- You are communicative, entrepreneurial and focused on collaboration.
