Siem Haffmans

Siem supports companies with sustainable innovation projects. As a strategic advisor he combines his broad knowledge of design, marketing, production, materials and recycling. With his extensive network, he connects companies to realize profitable circular solutions together. Siem is trained as an Industrial Designer (TU Delft), Marketing Manager (NimaB) and Social Entrepreneur (UvA). He has been involved in EcoDesign, Sustainable Packaging and Circular Economy for more than 25 years. He previously worked as a researcher at TNO and as a (guest) lecturer at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy, TU Delft and the Netherlands Packaging Centre. He is also a trainer within the CIRCO project.

Siem is founder of Ragbag a brand for recycled bags from the slums of Delhi. He is also the author of Products that Flow, a book about circular revenue models and design strategies for fast-moving consumer goods.
