Flora Poppelaars is a consultant within the Sustainable Innovation team with a specialisation in circular economy. She is a driven, curious and enthusiastic expert with a background in engineering and social sciences.
Flora Poppelaars finalized her PhD research at the faculty of Industrial Design Engineering at Delft University of Technology (the Netherlands). The objective of her dissertation is to stimulate the collection of electronics by focussing on the user perspective. Next to her technical knowledge, she also has deepened insights on behaviour change regarding for instance the divestment phase and the acceptance of leasing models.
Moreover, Flora gained experience advising a multinational for several years. During her master, she was selected for the Schmidt MacArthur Fellowship organised by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation.
