About
me
Margarida Vidinha works as a Circular Economy Consultant at Partners for Innovation. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Advanced Materials and Innovative Recycling, completed through a joint EIT Raw Materials program between NOVA University of Lisbon (Portugal) and the Technical University of Darmstadt (Germany). Having studied and worked abroad for several years, Margarida values the power of multicultural collaboration in driving meaningful change.
With an engineering background, she brings strong analytical and problem-solving skills to her role. Her master’s studies provided her with a technical and environmental understanding of recycling techniques, and the challenges of the raw material supply chain, mining industries and material innovation. This foundation enables her to navigate sustainability challenges with precision and a systems-thinking approach.
Margarida believes that tackling climate degradation requires multidisciplinary collaboration that goes beyond environmental concerns, integrating social development, economics, politics, and science. She sees Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) as an important tool for supporting eco-design developments and circular business models, and guiding decisions toward a more sustainable future. Working as an advisor, she is passionate about creating practical yet impactful solutions that support the transition to a circular economy.
