Certification for Renewable Fuels

The US Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS2) program, part of the American Energy Act of 2005 and expanded in 2007 under the Energy Independence and Security Act, aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and strengthen the renewable fuel industry. We perform independent audits for European biofuel producers seeking to enter the US market, in collaboration with Control Union Certifications since 2013.

During our Engineering Review, we verify that biofuel producers meet all the RFS2 program requirements. Upon a positive review, the producer is certified and can export to the US. Additionally, producers can subscribe to a Quality Assurance Plan for regular audits and quality monitoring.
